You can sum Men in Black: International up in one word, forgettable. Just minutes I have been out of the cinema and I’ve already forgotten what the main plot really was. What attempted to be a slick soft-reboot to the MiB series resulted in one of the most boring films I’ve seen in quite some time. Tessa Thompson & Chris Hemsworth grade Asgardian superhero madness for secret agent affairs and all the chemistry they had in Thor: Ragnarok is gone, they’re bland and at times near unwatchable. The rest of the cast phone it in too, Liam Neeson & Emma Thompson are clearly bored and only doing it for the paycheck. The supporting cast are all incredibly annoying. The action sequences don’t dazzle or grip you. But it had potential which is the sad thing. Level pegging with MiB2 for worst in the series but at least that had some level of character to it.
