"The devils don't come from Hell beneath us. No. No, they come from the sky." - Lex Luthor
With the massive success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it didn't take long for other film studios to follow suit and create their own shared universes. All eyes were on the DC Films division of Warner Bros. to create a true rival to the MCU with their iconic superheroes taking centre stage.
The DC Extended Universe as it was eventually officially termed in 2020 has had an extremely rough ride since its debut in 2013. With Warner Bros. allowing little to no cohesion between projects, there has been no one person overseeing the structure of the project unlike Kevin Feige's role within the MCU. With this interference alongside a great fluctuation in quality over the years has led to the DCEU becoming mostly forgotten as WB and DC Films grasp at straws to keep the franchise afloat.
Collected here are my reviews for every film and TV show released under the DCEU canon. As such this will not include other DC films such as Joker, or The Batman which released independently of the DCEU.
