In a time where we are saturated with superhero films and cinematic universes Glass dares to be different by doing exactly that. It not only conforms to genre tropes in an intelligent way, but it also serves as a final hurrah for the E177 trilogy, yet still leaving the door open for further development if ever necessary. It serves as a fresh display of what is capable of superhero films by doing exactly what we expect, in unpredictable ways.
It does not go without flaws but for every fault there is a redeeming quality. A highly enjoyable film with plenty of brains in a genre where many have none.
